'Soleful' Generosity

The generosity of two Springdale Utah outfitters: donating 600+ pairs of canyoneering shoes to make a global impact.

Displaying ongoing acts of kindness, two Springdale Utah outfitters — Zion Outfitter and Zion Guru — have donated over 600 pairs of canyoneering shoes from their rental fleets over the past couple years. These shoes, which were once essential gear for hiking the iconic Virgin River Narrows in Zion National Park, are now being repurposed to make a profound difference in the lives of individuals across the globe.

Canyoneering Karma has distributed donated shoes to canyon guides, youth programs, and rescue teams around the world, including Mexico, Nepal, Morocco, and the Philippines.

The outfitters' donations and Canyoneering Karma's efforts highlight how small acts of generosity can have wide-reaching effects. Their collaboration shows the impact of kindness and solidarity in making a positive difference in communities around the world.
